This is a friendly Djembe and Dundun class studying Malinke rhythms and songs, including solo techniques, accompaniments and dundun and bell patterns. There will be one mixed level class running in the Autumn from 7.30 to 9.00

The course will be taught by Adam Baileywho is a talented drummer and teacher. Adam was a student of mine whilst studying at Kingston University and has since learnt from Mamady Keita and Nansady Keita among others.

Adam plays in the Djembe Djinns, a London based Djembe ensemble with Hans Sutton specializing in traditional Guinean and Malian rhythms and songs. Adam has an ever growing repertoire and is known for his engaging and thoughtful teaching approach.

Place: Salvation Army Hall, Church Road, Teddington

Day: Wednesday evenings

Time: from 7.30pm to 9pm

Cost: £180 for 12 week course
